Tennessee based rock band 10 Years is prepping its new release, “Minus The Machine.” The album is currently slated to hit stores July 31st via Palehorse Records/ILG (WMG). In celebration, the band has released the first single off the album, ‘Backlash’, online. The single won’t start playing on radio until June 19th. Fans can check it out now before it hits radio at http://www.monsterenergy.com/us/en/bands/10-years:tracks/.
This album is the first for the band on its own independent label, Palehorse Records. Frontman Jesse Hasek explained the band’s decision to release the album independently, saying, “We wanted to create an album that has no boundaries.” He went on to say, “When you feel like you’re being told to go through motions and jump through hoops, it takes the heart out of it. It’s better to do what comes naturally and then figure out the after-effect.”
Along with the early debut of the album’s new single, 10 Years will be heading out on tour this Summer in support of the new album. The tour kicks off June 27th in Jefferson, Louisiana. The band will be joined by Fair to Midland and Kyng on most of its dates. It will also be joining a number of other top acts when it performs at this year’s annual Rockfest festival. Among the band’s expected to perform this year are: Godsmack, Halestorm, Five Finger Death Punch, and Hollywood Undead.
