The Rhythm in Blue jazz ensemble continues its performance schedule across Eastern North Carolina next week with a performance in Surf City. The ensemble, which is part of the Air Force Heritage of America Band, will perform at the Soundside Park next Wednesday, June 13th at 7pm. The concert is free and open to the public.
The Rhythm in Blue jazz ensemble is a fifteen member organization that covers a variety of musical styles, including: jazz and fusion, big band, and even contemporary music. The Air Force Heritage Band has been performing since 1941. It is currently under the direction of Maj. Jeffery B. Warner. The organization’s members come from Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia.
