Celtic punk rock band Dropkick Murphys has announced it will be peforming a special benefit show this Fall. The band announced that it will perform Friday, September 21st in Boston. The concert will be at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion waterfront amphitheatre as part of its current “Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day” tour.
Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday, June 9th. $1 from each ticket sold will go to benefit the Claddagh Fund. The Claddagh Fund is a charitable organization which aids organizations that provide assistance to children, veterans, and alcohol and drug abuse.
Dropkick Muprhys is currently on tour in Europe in support of its recent album, “Going out in Style” and its companion, “Going out in Style: Fenway Park Edition.” “Going Out in Style: Fenway Park Edition” was released March 13th.
