Join the “Coolest Summer Party” in “America’s Coolest Small Town”

BEAUFORT, N.C.–The “Coolest Small Town in America” invites you to the “Coolest Summer Party.”  Beaufort will host the “Coolest Summer Party” July 14th from 7pm to 11pm.  It will be held at the Beaufort Historic Site at 130 Turner Street in Beaufort.

The “Coolest Summer Party” was originally started in 2009 as part of the town’s 300th anniversary.  Tickets for the party are $100 per person.  Ticket price includes gourmet food from Beaufort’s own Beaufort Grocery Company.  There will be live music from The Phase Band, who have been performing in the Southeast for over three decades.  A live and silent auction will also be held to raise money for the Beaufort Historical Association.  Katherine Team is event co-chair.  She shared her thoughts on the party, saying, “So many of our friends only come to Beaufort during the summer, so it’s a great time to celebrate the fun of a big party in a relaxed atmosphere here at the Historic Site.”  She also noted expectations for this year’s events.  She said, “This party is sure to be one of the best of the year.  The wonderful people that attend are what make this party, and it’s a great way to have fun while also supporting a worthwhile cause.”

Tickets for the party can be purchased at the Beaufort Historic Site Welcome Center at 130 Turner Street in Downtown Beaufort or by phone at 252-728-5225.  More information on the party and other events throughout Beaufort is available online at http://www.beauforthistoricsite.org.
