Prosthetic Records has announced that in celebration of this year’s annual Record Store Day, it will re-issue Lamb of God’s Prosthetic Records debut album, New American Gospel.  The album will be released in a very limited quantity.  Only five hundred copies of this vinyl release will be available nationwide.  And they will be available only on Record Store Day, April 20th.  All proceeds from sales of the vinyl re-issue will go to benefit the “Justice Now” Legal Fund for the band’s vocalist, Randy Blythe.  Blythe was recently acquitted of manslaughter charges linked to a concert goers death at a performance by the band in Prague on May 24, 2010.  Despite being exonerated, Blythe still faces massive legal defense bills.  Sales of this record will go to pay those costs.

The upcoming re-issue will feature remastered “2006 versions” of the album’s original track listing.  Donations to Blythe’s Legal fund can also be made online at http://bit.ly/FreeRandy
