Legendary Seattle based prog rock band Queensryche and its new front man Todd La Torre are heading overseas this Winter for a European tour in support of the band’s new self-titled record. It has a pair of U.S. dates in November before it heads overseas in December. In anticipation of the upcoming tour, the band has released a video for its new single, ‘Redemption.’ The video mixes elements of the band performing live and working in the studio against the song. Along with the new music video, the band has also filmed a “mini-movie” set to the band’s own music. The band used the songs ‘Spore’, ‘Midnight Lullaby’, A World Without’ and ‘X2’ as the score to the ten-plus minute feature titled, Queensryche: Ad Lucem. The film was created by Veva Entertainment Company. It was directed by Daniel Andres Gomez Bagby and produced by Marco De Molina. It was filmed in September at Central City Stages in Los Angeles, CA and will be released later this year.
