Weather Forces Changes To ESPN’s Weekend CFB Broadcast Schedule

South Carolina has been devasted by the recent rains that came through the area last week. The effects of the low pressure system that went through the area were far reaching to say the very least. Homes and lands have been flooded, and roads have been washed out. So far fourteen people have lost their lives as a result of the weather. It goes without saying that all of those affected by that weather system are in the thoughts and prayers of the country. Today it was announced that that same system has had even more effect as this weekend’s matchup between the Gamecocks and Tigers has been moved.

Officials with LUS and South Carolina have announced that the game, which was previously scheduled to be held in South Carolina Saturday at noon will now be played at LSU Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm ET. The game will still be broadcast live on ESPN despite the change. Five others games have seen some changes in their scheduling on the ESPN networks as a result of this change. Those games are: Indiana @ Penn St., Illinois @ #22 Iowa, Tulane @ Temple, Minnesota @ Perdue, and Connecticut at UCF. Those games will still be played at their original times and at their original venues. The only changes will be the networks on which audiences can see them. Those changes are all listed below.
