ESPN will be in Virginia this weekend for its weekly broadcast of College GameDay Built by The Home Depot. But the network’s flagship college football broadcast won’t be coming from any of the major Virginia universities’ campuses. This week, it will come live from the campus of James Madison University.
ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will broadcast live Saturday morning from the campus of James Madison University beginning at 9am ET. The broadcast comes ahead of the Dukes’ homecoming game against in-state rival Richmond, which will be at 3:30pm ET. This weekend’s broadcast from JMU marks the first time ever that College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will have been broadcast live from the campus of the non-FBS school and the eighth time ever that the show has been broadcast from a non-FBS school overall. The It will take place live at the Quad in front of Wilson Hall from 9am ET – 12pm ET on ESPN.
Rece Davis will anchor Saturday’s broadcast. He will be joined at the desk by analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, and David Pollack along with contributors Samantha Ponder, Tom Rinaldi, George Whitfield, and Gene Wojciechowski.
