Lucky, Cookie, Niblet, and the rest of the Pound Puppies gang returns this winter with another new collection of episodes thanks to Shout! Factory Kids.
Shout! Factory Kids will release the next collection episodes from Discovery Family’s hit series Pound Puppies next month. The single-disc compilation, Pound Puppies: A Rare Pair, will be released in stores and online on Tuesday, January 19th. It will feature five more episodes from the hit animated series and will retail for MSRP of $12.99. This time out, the Pound Puppies have to try and get a kitten and puppy both adopted to the same home in “Catcalls.” This episode is pulled from the series’ first season. Also from Season One, “The Really Weird Dog” the Pound Puppies have quite the task ahead of them as they try to help an alligator (yes, an alligator) named Rover get adopted. There’s also a clip show of sorts in yet another Season One episode “The Call of the Squirrel Dog.” This episode tells the story of how Mr. Nut became a member of the Pound Puppies crew. These are just a few of the stories that audiences have to look forward to on this latest collection. Season One is represented once more in “Kennel Kittens Return” while Season Two gets a nod in the form of “Once A Ralph, Always A Ralph.”
