Los Angeles, CA–The Jimmy Kimmel Show is going to be full of Garbage tonight.

Veteran rock band Garbage will be on ABC’s hit late-night talk show tonight.  The performance is in support of the band’s latest album Strange Little Birds, its sixth full-length recording.  The album was released Friday, June 10th.  It was released via the band’s own independent label STUNVOLUME Records.  It was also self-produced by the band—Shirley Manson, Steve Marker, Duke Erikson, and Butch Vig—in Los Angeles and can be purchased physically and digitally.  Audiences can check out the video for the album’s lead single ‘Empty’ online now here.  The video was directed by longtime collaborator Samuel Bayer.  The Jimmy Kimmel Show airs Monday – Friday on ABC at 11:35pm ET.  Audiences should check their local listings for more information.

The band’s performance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show is just one way that the band is supporting its new album.  Pandora has also partnered with Pandora to release an exclusive playlist of songs dubbed Random Tunes To Move Through Airports To.  It features songs by John Cale, Cat Power, Parquet Courts, and others.  It is streaming online now here.
