TNT Reveals 2016 – ’17 NBA Season Broadcast Schedule

Turner Network Television has announced its broadcast schedule for the 2016 –’17 NBA season.

The network’s broadcast schedule for the 2016 – ’17 season (its 33rd consecutive season of NBA action) will feature a total of 64 games beginning with a double header matchup on Tuesday, October 25th.  The Knicks and Cavaliers open the night at 8pm ET.  The Spurs and Warriors follow at 10:30pm ET.  The opening schedule marks the 21st consecutive season that TNT has opened its NBA broadcast schedule with a double header showcase. TNT NBA Tip-Off presented by Autotrader opens the night at 7pm ET with a full one-hour pre-game broadcast.

TNT’s extended broadcast schedule for the 2016 – ’17 NBA season includes a new Monday night package that launches on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Jan. 16).  The package is part of TNT’s new long-term deal with the NBA that includes enhanced multimedia rights.  That debut Monday night double header will be led by a matchup between the Cavaliers and Warriors at 8pm.  The Clippers and Thunder follow at 10:30pm ET.  Other key Monday night matchup’s on TNT’s new schedule include the Warriors facing the Thunder on March 20th (at 8pm ET) and the Spurs hosting the Cavs on March 27th (also at 8pm ET).  TNT’s full 64-game NBA broadcast schedule is noted below.
