NFC South Takes Center Stage Monday Night On ESPN’s ‘MNF’ Broadcast

The NFC South goes under the lights next week as the NFL finishes off Week 3 of the 2016 – ’17 season.

Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons host Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints next week on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.  Both teams are looking to right their respective ships as they prepare for Monday night’s matchup.

The Saints are winless heading into Week 3 while the Falcons have done anything but soar so far this season, going 1 – 1 with its only win so far coming in Week 2 against the Raiders.

Atlanta has scored 40 points against so far this season but also allowed 41 points to be scored against.  New Orleans meanwhile are close to that number, scoring 47 points so far but allowing 51 to be scored against.

Atlanta is winless at home so far this season while New Orleans is winless at home and on the road.  So Monday night’s game is going to be big for both teams in trying to get themselves on the right path.

Sean McDonough will have the call for Monday night’s NFC South matchup on ESPN.  He will be joined in the booth by Jon Gruden for additional commentary.  Reporter Lisa Salters will be on the sidelines with all of the latest in-game interviews and news.  Coverage kicks off at 8:15pm ET.

Monday Night Countdown will precede Monday Night Football with Suzy Kolber at the helm.  She will be joined at the desk by the analyst team of Matt Hasselbeck, Trent Dilfer, Randy Moss, Charles Woodson and Steve Young.  NFL features reporter Michelle Beisner-Buck will also be on hand for additional commentary.

Chris Berman, Michael Irvin and ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter will be live from ESPN’s studios in Bristol Connecticut.
