ZZ Top To Hit The Road Again In 2017


ZZ Top just recently released its latest live recording LiveGreatest Hits From Around The World to the masses.  Now the band has announced that fans will get another dose of the band live when the band hits the road for a new series of live dates.

The band announced this week that it will launch the “17 Tonnage Tour” early next year.  Right now the tour is scheduled to launch February 19, 2017 in Greenville, South Carolina and will run through March 14, 2017 in Macon Georgia.

The band’s current tour schedule is noted below.



Feb-19 – Greenville SC – Peace Center Concert Hall

Feb-22 – Nashville TN – Ryman Auditorium

Feb-24 – Louisville KY – The Louisville Palace Theater

Feb-25 – Northfield OH – Hard Rock Live

Feb-26 – Schenectady NY – Proctor’s Theatre

Mar-3  – Atlantic City NJ – Caesars Atlantic City– Circus Maximus

Mar-4  – Shippensburg PA – H. Ric Luhrs PAC– Shippensburg University

Mar-5  – Washington DC – MGM National Harbor

Mar-11 – Lake Charles LA – Golden Nugget

Mar-14 – Macon GA – City Auditorium


Band member Billy Gibbons said audiences will have plenty to look forward to on the band’s upcoming tour.

“It’s gonna be a good time,” he said. “We’ve been at this long enough that we’re starting to get good.  Come and see us; It’s gonna be loud and live.”
