Hail Sagan released its debut self-titled EP this fall independently. The record is currently sold out in the band’s webstore but can be purchased when more copies are made available.
The band released the video for its lead single ‘Dark Cloud’ late this year. Vocalist and founder Sagan Amery said the song and video are meant to take on the subject of bullying and abuse.
“It’s been a great experience being able to broach the subject of bullying and abuse with the lyrics of this song,” Amery said. “We took it one step further and created a video with director Matthew Crum and DP Kenny Keeler that visually enhanced the subject matter. We chose to mask the members of the band in an effort to show the world that anyone can be a part of this, you never know who will be under there, maybe even a fan or someone else who needs music to save them.”
