As the day nears for the release of Everlast’s new album, the veteran rapper has released another single from the record, his first collection of new music in seven years.
‘It Ain’t Easy‘ debuted Thursday. the song is the third single to be released from Everlast’s new album Whitey Ford’s House of Pain. The record is due out Sept. 7 via Martyr Inc. Records, and pre-orders are open now.
Everlast explained in a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine that the song was originally written during the sessions for What It’s Like. He explained that he was going through a difficult point in his life when he wrote the song.
Whitey Ford’s House of Pain is Everlast’s seventh full-length solo record and his first of new material since 2011’s Songs of the Ungrateful Living. Everlast has two live dates already scheduled in support of his new album. They are noted below.
