Set It Off has released another single from its upcoming album.

The band debuted its latest single ‘Midnight Thoughts‘ on Tuesday.  The song is just the latest to be released from the band’s forthcoming album Midnight, which is currently scheduled for release on Feb. 1.

Front man Cody Carson explained the song’s lyrical theme in a recent interview, saying it addresses the problem that so many people face every day and taking control of them.

“I, like many people in our generation today, have a tremendously terrible time falling asleep at a decent hour,” Carson said.  “I find myself lying awake in in my bed and reflecting on so many things at once that sometimes they overlap and attack me.  the good, the bad, the what could have been, the what should have been…they are very present.  The song is about learning to deal with these thoughts and feelings, not letting them consume you and just living with it.  Some things you cannot control, you just have to tolerate it.”

‘Midnight Thoughts’ is the fifth song so far to be released from Midnight.  Most recently, the band debut the album’s third and fourth singles ‘For You Forever‘ and ‘Dancing With the Devil.’  Prior to their debut, the band released the single and video for the album’s second single, ‘Lonely Dance.’  The album’s debut single, ‘Killer in the Mirror‘ saw its video premiered July 24.
