Take The Day premiered the video for its latest single this week.
The Kansas-based band debuted the video for ‘Song For The Broken‘ on Thursday via Loud-Stuff. Musically, the song will appeal to fans of Breaking Benjamin, Creed (front man Kenneth Black even sounds like former Creed front man Scott Stapp), and other similar acts. Lyrically, the song will appeal to an even wider audience.
The band explained in a collective statement.
“At some point in our lives, we all feel hurt, abandoned and alone,” the band said. We can’t let that define who we are. This one’s for us.”
The video for ‘Song For The Broken’ was directed by Chris Dawson. The song was co-written, produced and engineered by Dawson with Jimmy Beattie, of Seasons After.
Take The Day is currently scheduled to perform live Jan. 20 in Kansas City, MO and May 3 in Newton, KS.
