Chout announced a new live date this week.

The Chicago, IL-based hard rock band is scheduled to perform March 28 at The Forge in Joliet, IL.  The performance is part of the band’s support for its most recent full-length studio recording Dogwater, which was released last July.

The band will join Reign, Misfire, Exosphere and Comfort Scarcity for the show.  One of the songs that audiences can expect from Chout at the show is ‘Seasons,’ one of the songs featured in Dogwater.

Band member Brendan Maier talked about the song in a recent interview.

“‘Seasons’ is a song written about battling mental illness,” Maier said.  “The chorus, ‘Seasons cry for no one’ is a play on words referencing seasonal depression directly, but the song is meant to represent an internal struggle with one’s demons.”

The companion video for ‘Seasons’ is streaming online now here.

The full track listing for Dogwater is noted below.  Chout recently announced it is working on a new EP and will announce its release date soon.

Track List:
1. Seasons
2. So Long Long Gone
3. Restless Heart
4. All Has Been Done
5. Pick Me Up
6. Out Of Time
7. Thin Ice
8. To Lose
