American Jetset premiered its first-ever video this month.
The band debuted the video for its single ‘Go It Alone‘ on Feb. 13. The video follows a young woman making her way around a city on her own, trying to meet up with someone, but keeps getting stood up. Eventually, the young woman gets fed up with being stood up and, in fact, goes it alone, and does her own thing after having enough of being led on.
Musically speaking, the song’s arrangement harkens back to the rock and roll sounds that bridged the sounds of the late 1980s and early 90s with its straight forward, guitar-driven composition. Oddly enough, front man Ian Kaine MacGregor’s vocal sound can be compared to that of a very young Ozzy Osbourne here, while the song’s arrangement sounds nothing like Ozzy or even Black Sabbath.
‘Go It Alone’ is taken from American Jetset’s EP Live Love Die on Main, which also features the songs ‘Forgotten Tragedies,’ ‘Live Love Die,’ ‘Shameless’ and ‘Monsters.’ The EP was released in December.
American Jetset has a series of live dates coming this spring in support of Live Love Die on Main. They are noted online along with the band’s latest news at:
