Independent hard rock band Breaking Solace debuted the video for its new single this week.

The band debuted the lyric video for its single ‘Throw Down’ Tuesday.  The band premiered the video through puregrainaudio.com.  The video is also streaming on the band’s official YouTube Channel.  the song comes from the band’s new EP, Rising, which was released Friday.

The song’s musical arrangement is a melodic hard rock composition that will appeal to fans of bands, such as Disturbed, Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin.  Its lyrical theme will appeal to a wider range of listeners, as pointed out by the bandd’s front man Danny Burk in a recent interview.

“‘Throw Down’ is about the moment you decide it’s time to fight your battles,” Burk said.  “I spent my life fighting manic depression and one day, I got fed up with blaming the world for my problems.  The frustration quickly turned to aggressive motivation and I haven’t quit fighting for my life since.  I hope ‘Throw Down’ inspires people to get fired up to fight for a better tomorrow.”
