Jeff Fettes (a.k.a. Riotron) debuted his lateast single this week.

The electro-pop artist debuted his new song ‘There For You‘ Thursday.  The song, featured in Fettes’ forthcoming EP Dark Highway, is the follow-up to his single ‘I’m Sorry (On and On),’ which was released in September.  that song is focused on a rift formed between Fettes’ friends and family as a result of political differences.

The musical arrangement at the heart of ‘There For You’ is a contemplative composition that ensures listeners’ engagement and entertainment.  At the same time, it also presents a distinct 80s -influenced pop-style vibe at its center.

The lyrical theme of ‘There For You’ rest on the old adage that true love knows no bounds, as Fettes noted in a recent interview.

“‘There For You’ is about how thinking of the people we love can bring them to us any time we need them,” he said.  “It’ doesn’t have to be spiritual or metaphysical. It’s just the power of our memories.  When you can’t be with them physically, they can still be there for you across time and space.  it sounds cosmic, but it’s really kind of simple and comforting.”

Dark Highway‘s release date will be announced soon.  The EP’s overall lyrical theme, according to Fettes, focuses on “how our darkest moments eventually lead to hope.”
