The new tour schedule is just one of the announcements that the band made Monday.  The band also announced it is partnering with the nonprofit agencies Amnesty International USA, Punk Rock Saves Lives, and HeadCount for its upcoming live run.  The band talked about the partnerships in a collective statement.

“With every tour we do, we’re searching for creative ways to interject empathy into the show,” the band said.  “These organizations are fantastic opportunities to share simple ideas, create tangible victories and spread empathy.  The social, economic, racial and economic justice we all seek is within our reach.  The future we wish to see contains the work we all put in now.  We hope these shows serve as rallying points for people to recognize in 2020 you’re not alone, in a world where the status quo is violent, bigoted and predicated upon fear…to be kind is a radical notion and punk as f***.”

Punk Rock Saves Lives will focus on the issue of lowering prices for insulin.  The agency will also hold canned food drives at every show, according to the band.  HeadCount will work to get people registered to vote ahead of November’s general election.  Amnesty International USA will continue its work promoting human rights.
