Goth-industrial band The Hate Club will release its new EP in July.

The band is scheduled to release its new EP Death of the Protagonist July 17 through The Label Group INgrooves.  the brainchild of Alex Poe, The Hate Club has released the EPs Space Born and Misfit already.  It has also released a live EP titled Pt. 1.

Death of the Protagonist is available to stream and download here.

Poe talked about the EP in a recent interview, noting its significance.

Death of the Protagonist signals new growth of THC as an artist and a band, thus moving toward heavier sound for a specific reason,” said Poe.  “Compared to previous EPs and releases DOTP aims at releasing inner tension and turmoil that is tearing the world and society apart today. There’s no need for words to explain how you feel, but rather for energy of music to speak for itself”
