Gemini Syndrome, Woyote Front Man Nordstrom Joins Invidia For New Single

Gemini Syndrome front man Aaron Nordstrom is keeping himself quite busy lately.

Nordstrom has joined independent hard rock band Invidia for its latest single, ‘The Other Side.’  Invidia debuted the single’s companion lyric video Tuesday.

The video features the song’s lyrics set against a post apocalyptic skyline, reminding listeners that there is a need for unity even as the end is near, so while there is a certain nihilism to the song’s lyrical theme, there is also a message of unity and hope, making for an interesting juxtaposition for audiences.

Front man Travis Johnson discussed the song’s lyrical theme in a recent interview.

“With everything that has gone on with recent events, I feel this song has even a stronger meaning than the day I wrote it, love prevails,” he said.

Nordstrom’s guest appearance with Invidia is just his latest project.  He was recently announced as the new front man of another independent hard rock band, Woyote.  The band was formed by Mikey Doling (Soulfly, Snot, Channel Zero).

Nordstrom himself stressed in an interview he has no intention of leaving his post with Gemini Syndrome in his own statement.

“You never know when your time is up so I plan on doing as much as I can, and I am very excited about being a part of Woyote!,” he said.

Woyote is working on its new single.
