A Killer’s Confession recently announced some hopeful news about its live schedule.
The band announced July 20, that unless things change, its previously delayed tour with Combichrist, King 810 and Heartsick will go on. The tour is scheduled to launch Oct. 8 at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA and to run through Oct. 31 in Spartanburg, SC. It also features performances in cities, such as Austin, TX; Mansfield, OH and Madison, WI.
While audiences count down the days for the new tentative dates, they can also hear the latest single from A Killer’s Confession, ‘Last Chance.’ The band’s new single started airing on radio on July 16, approximately three months after the band debuted the song’s lyric video.
The musical arrangement at the center of ‘Last Chance’ is a guitar-driven melodic hard rock work that is enriched through its bass and drums. The guitar work is provided by Tommy Church (ex-Mushroomhead). Front man Waylon Reavis’ vocal delivery puts the finishing touch to the song.
Reavis (ex-Mushroomhead) talked about the song’s lyrical theme in a recent interview.
“It is about an individual who has burned all bridges in their life and are on their last chance to make it right,” he said. “’Last Chance’” is a scream for forgiveness of past decisions we have made and how ashamed we can be from things we do.”
In related news, A Killer’s Confession is working on its next album. The as-yet-untitled album is a work in progress while the band members navigate the issues raised by the COVID-19 pandemic.
