Independent rock band The Midnight Preachers debuted the video for its latest single this week.
The band debuted the lyric video for its new single ‘Pusher Woman‘ Friday. The video features the song’s lyrics set alongside a series of images, such as a woman’s eye, her lips and legs. The imagery is used to help illustrate the song’s lyrical theme, which seems to be about a woman to whom the song’s subject is…well…addicted, thus the title ‘Pusher Woman.’
The song’s video was animated by The Midnight Preachers vocalist Emer McLaughlin. The song was written by McLaughlin and her band mate Eoghan McSheain. John Henry produced the southern rock style arrangement while Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Sons of Apollo, Guns N’ Roses, Asia) mixed and mastered the song.
Thal also produced The Midnight Preachers’ most recent single, ‘Holding On‘ and its predecessor, ‘California.’
