Disciples of Verity debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band debuted the lyric video for its new single ‘The Lost Ones’ Thursday through Revolver magazine. The song is the fifth single from the band’s forthcoming album Pragmatic Sanction, which is scheduled for release Oct. 16 through The Label Group.  It follows the releases of the album’s other singles, ‘Unsteady,’ ‘The Flow,’ ‘Lying to Myself,’ and ‘Worthy.’

The musical arrangement featured in ‘The Lost Ones’ is a melodic hard rock composition that will appeal to fans of bands, such as Sevendust, and The Veer Union.  Fittingly, the band features a guest appearance by Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose.

According to comments from front man Corey Glover (Living Colour), the song’s lyrical theme is meant to illicit a sense of determination in listeners.

“We all feel like we’re the only ones suffering,” said Glover. “Like you are the only ones that getting the shitty end of the deal. You’re not. We all are. The world ain’t no paradise. At least we’re in it together.”

Bassist George Pond expanded on Glover’s statements.

“The world has changed,” he said. “Now is the time to look inside to change with it. To adapt. We are all ‘The Lost Ones’ trying to find our way.”
