Hard rock band Silvertung debuted the video for its latest single this week.
The band debuted the video for its single ‘You’re Fine‘ Friday. The song is the third single from the band’s album But, At What Cost, and follows the debut of the record’s second single ‘World Gone Mad,’ which debuted more than two months ago and its lead single ‘Done My Best,’ which premiered Jan. 24, 2019.
The video presents the band performing its single in a wooded backdrop and combines that with footage of people dealing with their own emotional difficulties. The song’s musical arrangement is a heavy, guitar-driven work whose bass and percussion flesh out its sound even more. The whole of that alongside the vocal delivery makes the song a work that will appeal to fans of Disturbed.
The song’s lyrical content is meant to address the heavy emotions and thoughts that people are dealing with as they navigate the flooded waters of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a statement from the band.
“We wrote this song for you because we see the effects that mental illness has in life,” the statement reads. “But more importantly the strengths you have, you may not even know.”
In related news, a re-worked version of ‘You’re Fine’ is available to stream and download now here.
