Independent pop rock act Don’t Believe in Ghosts debuted its latest single last week.

The group debuted its new single ‘Still Holding On’ Aug. 27.  The official release followed an invitation-only event at which fans who pre-saved the song were invited to hear the song first.

The group’s new song is a very pop style work that is grounded in its keyboards, time keeping and guitars.  Its infectious groove and melody will appeal to fans of Fitz and the Tantrums.

Front man Stephen Nathan said in a recent interview that the song’s lyrical theme has a personal meaning to him.

“Since I lost my brother to COVID 19 in April the world has looked and felt incredibly different,” he said. “On top of the truly surreal nightmare this has all been, everything just feels out of place, it’s a hard way to grieve and deal with all else we are dealing with. Still Holding On is about the changes and challenges in our lives how we must still find a purpose and keep going.”

Don’t Believe in Ghosts most recently debuted the video for its single ‘Living Like This‘ in April.  It debuted the single by itself in February.  The song is available to stream and download through SpotifyApple MusicAmazon and Google Play.

‘Living Like This’ was just the latest from Don’t Believe in Ghosts at the time of its release.  The band debuted it single ‘The Chase’ in May 2019.  Its companion video debuted a month later.  That single and video were preceded by the debut of the band’s single ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ in February 2019 and its companion video the following month.
