Magnolia Bayou debuted the video for its latest single this week.
The band debuted the video for its cover of legendary blues artist Son House’s song ‘Preachin’ Blues.’ The song and its video are the fourth from the group’s forthcoming album Strange Place. The debut follows that of the songs ‘Sweet Magnolia,’ ‘Tupelo,’ and ‘Thieves.’
‘Preachin’ Blues’ is available to stream and download by itself here. Pre-orders for Strange Place are open. The album’s track listing is noted below.
Track List:
1. Dig Deep
2. Sleepin’ In The Dog House
3. Sugarspell
4. Preachin’ Blues
5. Hands In The Dirt

Shot and edited by Autumn Leith (Wicked & Wonder) and John Reyes (John Reyes Networks), the black and white video combines what is meant to be live footage of the band with that of a preacher delivering his fiery sermon. The band takes Son House’s original, acoustic work and turns the knob to 10.
