Independent hard rock band Zero Theorem debuted the video for its latest single this week.
The band debuted the video for its new single ‘Translucent‘ Tuesday. The song is the second single from the band’s forthcoming EP The Killing II. It follows the debut of the EP’s lead single ‘Swarm,’ whose video debuted July 13. ‘Transluscent’ is available to stream and download here.
The Killing II is scheduled for release in early 2021. Its exact release date is under consideration.
The animated ‘Translucent’ video features an extraterrestrial fighting against another being for control of a planet. Meanwhile, the band’s song plays over the CGI presentation. The song’s arrangement will appeal to fans of Disturbed, much like ‘Swarm’ and the songs featured on the band’s most recent studio recording The Killing I. The Killing I i available here.
According to Zero Theorem front man “Caesar” the song’s lyrical content centers on the topic of self-realization and empowerment.
“Translucent” represents the act of seeing through one’s outward or public persona to identify the authentic self within,” he said. “As with other songs throughout The Killing recordings, “Translucent” depicts a scathing character portrait while questioning the validity and usefulness of the artificial trappings of our daily lives”.
