ESPN Networks To Carry Exclusive Coverage Of 2020 NBA Finals

The stage is set for the 2020 NBA Finals, and ESPN’s networks will have full coverage of the run to the championship.

ESPN will carry the championship series for the 18th consecutive season, with game one set to tip off at 9 p.m. ET Wednesday on ESPN.  The Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat will vie for the league’s top prize this year.

The NBA Finals are presented this year by YouTube TV.  The games will air across the ESPN networks (ABC, ESPN, ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes) domestically and internationally.  Ernesto Jerez and analyst Coach Carlos Morales will cover the finals for ESPN Deportes.

The teams will play the best-of-seven series live at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.  Mike Breen will anchor coverage of this year’s finals, making this year his 15th consecutive year anchoring the NBA Finals.  Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson, and Rachel Nichols will provide additional commentary and all of the series’ latest headlines.

NBA Countdown presented by Door Dash will precede each game.  The weeknight broadcasts will air at 8:30 p.m. ET and run for half an hour.  The weeknight broadcasts of NBA Countdown presented by Door Dash will air at 7 p.m. ET.

Audiences will also get a digital pre-game broadcast in the form of Hoop Streams half an hour prior to each game.  Th program will stream live through ESPN’s Twitter page, YouTube, and Facebook sites.
