Coastal Carolina and No. 21 Louisiana will go live under the lights tonight on the gridiron.
The Chanticleers and Rajin-Cajuns will open the ESPN networks’ weekly college football broadcast schedule at 7:30 p.m. ET tonight. While the game opens this week’s schedule, three other games will be the focus of this week’s schedule.
The AAC, SEC, and ACC are scheduled to showcase Saturday in a daylong schedule. That is pending the developing situation at Florida. The Gators staff suspended operations Tuesday following the revelation that 19 members of the team have tested positive for COVID-19.
No. 10 Florida is scheduled to LSU at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN. However, Tuesday’s announcement is leaving Saturday’s game in question. This after workouts and practices were paused following the revelation of the outbreak.
The two other games on the schedule — UCF at Memphis (AAC) and No. 5 North Carolina at Florida State (ACC) — are still confirmed. Coverage of the AAC matchup is scheduled to launch at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC, with Mark Jones, Roddy Jones, and Paul Carcaterra on the call.
The ACC will headline the day’s schedule, with coverage starting at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Sean McDonough will anchor the Saturday Night Football presented by Capital One broadcast. Todd Bleckledge, Todd McShay and Molly McGrath will provide additional commentary and reports.
While the noted games are the highlights of Saturday’s schedule across the ESPN networks, they are not the only games on the four-day schedule. Sun Belt foes Georgia State and Arkansas State are scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m. ET Thursday on ESPN.
No. 8 Cincinnati is on the road noon Saturday against host Tulsa in another key AAC matchup. The game is scheduled to air on ESPN2.
No. 13 Miami is also on Saturday’s schedule. The Hurricanes are scheduled to play host to Pittsburgh live at noon on the ACC Network.
Also set for high noon is a matchup of No. 18 Tennessee and Kentucky. That game is scheduled to air on the SEC Network.
