Independent metalcore band Qualia debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band debuted the video for its new single ‘CVLT FICTION‘ Thursday. The video and single are the band’s debut for InVogue Records, with whom the band recently signed a new record deal. The video features a variety of goth-themed visuals, such as front man Steve Edridge viewing visions in a crystal ball, a “mystic” dressed all in black offering him an apple in her darkly lit store, which also features an animal skull, and tarot cards.

The musical arrangement featured in Qualia’s new single is a distinct metal/emo-core style composition, what with the balance in the clean and screaming vocals, the heavy guitar and bass, and the punch of the drums. The lyrical content that accompanies the song’s heavy, melodic rock arrangement will reach its own share of listeners with its contemplative content.

Eldridge was upbeat as he talked about the debut of Qualia’s new single.

“It takes a village to raise a child,” he said. “The same can be said for a song, band, or business. This song was a proof of concept, to prove to ourselves that we were adequate and that collaboration is absolutely necessary to create something meaningful. I feel comfortable speaking for my bandmates when I say that we couldn’t have done this on our own and we are so proud and thankful for everyone that’s apart of this,”

‘CVLT FICTION’ is available to stream and download here.
