Independent rock band Cavo debuted the video for its latest single this week.
The band debuted the video for its new single ‘Muscle Memory’ Monday through Ghost Cult Magazine. The video features the band performing its new single in a darkened, dimly lit studio backdrop.
The song’s musical arrangement is a unique presentation, as it presents a hybrid reggae rock sound. Even with that approach taken, the composition is not easily likened to works from the likes of 311 and other reggae rock acts. It boasts its own identity in comparison to the noted bands.
Front man Casey Walker talked about the single in a recent interview.
“’Muscle Memory’ comes from a place of the band being tired of being in a box, he said. “It’s our way of “not playing by the rules” that people outside of the band had set for us. We had to step back and look at ourselves for the answers and drown out all the noise pollution.”
‘Memory Muscle’ is available to stream and download here.
