Independent rock act Lyonen premiered the video for its latest single last week.
The band debuted the video for its new single ‘Lyonen‘ Oct. 14. The song and its video are the second from Lyonen’s debut album This is Lyonen, which was released in August. The album’s lead single ‘Revelation‘ and its video debuted Aug. 30.
The video features Craig Cairns providing session vocals for the song, alongside Jose Vegas on bass, and Javi One on drums while Rivas himself handled guitar duties. The group is shown here recording its respective parts for the song.
Rivas talked about the new single in a recent interview.
“I want to motivate the listeners through the lyrics while giving them a shot of classic heavy metal with melodic guitar lines and heavy vocals,” he said. “Lyonen is important to me because this is the first time I can put what I am thinking into a song and I definitely want to do more.”
