Independent rock band Dead Original debuted the video for its latest single over the weekend.
The band debuted the video for its new single ‘Let It Burn‘ Friday. The song and its video are the fifth from the band’s forthcoming record Bought and Sold. It comes most recently on the heels of the debut album record’s fourth single, ‘Bought and Sold‘ and its companion video. Also released so far from Bought and Sold are the singles ‘Fade To Light,’ ‘Hard To See‘ and ‘Restrained.’
As with the band’s existing videos, the ‘Let It Burn’ video features the band performing its new single in the already familiar studio setting in which it performed its other singles. The song’s musical arrangement features a reserved, almost contemplative sense through its mid-tempo approach and down-tuned guitars and bass.
Front man Paul Wandtke (ex-Trivium, Rock of Ages) discussed the song’s collective content in a prepared statement.
“‘Let it Burn’ is a little bit different from our whole album as it’s a slower paced groove track with a big vibe and with lyrics centered around embracing one’s problems and misfortunes,” he said. “We think people that dig rock will like this song.”
‘Let It Burn’ is available to stream and download here.
