Independent rock band The Bambies debuted the title track from its forthcoming album this week.

The band premiered ‘Summer Soon’ Thursday. Its premiere comes less than a month after the band premiered the album’s lead single, ‘Dirty Taint.’ Both songs are streaming through the band’s official Bancamp page.

Summer Soon is scheduled for release Aug. 20 through Spaghetty Town Records in the United States and through Wanda Records in Europe. Pre-orders are open.

The musical arrangement featured in the song, which comes in at less than two minutes in length, is a pure garage punk style composition. The simple chord changes, production, vocals, bass, and drums, make the song immediately infectious. The whole does well in translating the positive message in the song’s lyrical theme.

Front man Sami Stern talked about the song’s lyrical theme in a prepared statement.

“Summer is always a blast for folks in Quebec,” said Stern. “That feeling at the end of winter when the sun is out, the snow is melting and last season’s accumulated garbage appears below! It’s a promise for better days. The feeling is wonderful.  Jamie from Pale Lips/Reta suggested we use this as the name for our LP, and Jamie only ever has good ideas. She is brilliant.”
