Overkill fans will get an early Halloween treat this year.
The band announced Wednesday through a news release, that it will release a new comprehensive box set Oct. 29 through BMG. The box set, The Atlantic Years: 1986 – 1994 features all six albums that the band released during its time with the nationally- and internationally-known record label: Taking Over (1987), Under The Influence (1988), The Years of Decay (1989), Horroscope (1991), I Hear Black (1993), and W.F.O. (1994).
Pre-orders are open. The six-disc collection will release on vinyl and CD. The box’s vinyl presentation marks the first time in more than a decade that the albums have released on that platform. A trailer for the album’s release is streaming here.
The Atlantic Years: 1986 – 1994 will come more than two years after the release of Overkill’s then latest album, Wings of War, which was released in February 2019 through Nuclear Blast Records..
