Nonpoint Releases Statement On Recent Trailer Incident, COVID-19 Diagnoses

Nonpoint has had a rough go if it this month.

The band suffered a tough loss early this month when a trailer containing the band’s gear disconnected from its vehicle and flipped into a forest in Tennessee. To make matters worse, two of the band members were recently diagnosed with COVID-19.

While the band has suffered some setbacks, it has not allowed these recent issues to halt its tour. The band has issued a statement on its recent bad luck streak and assured audiences that its tour will continue. The band’s statement is noted below.

“If someone hadn’t been filming when it all happened, people probably wouldn’t believe it,” singer Elias Soriano says about the band’s most taxing and obstacle-filled week in years. You thought it couldn’t get worse than 2020 and dealing with COVID? How about watching your trailer full of gear roll off into a Tennessee forest at 75 mph? Watch the video update to see the full story, then visit for the chance to purchase an exclusive design to help with offsetting shortfalls and damage from the band’s brush with COVID as well as the accident with their trailer.

In related news, one member of the band’s 361 Degrees fan base has launched a GoFundMe page to help the band cover the costs of replacing its damaged equipment and other costs. The page had raised just under $6,000 as of Tuesday. Donations can be made through the page here.

In related news, the band is — as noted — continuing its tour. That is because as Soriano reveals in the video, most of the band’s gear survived the incident. The band’s upcoming dates, including re-schedueld dates, are noted below.
