Nick Perri will go solo for one special performance in December.

Perri made the announcement in a press release distributed Wednesday. The document announced Perri will hold what he has called a “solo electric” show Dec. 18 at the brand new Philadelphia Brooklyn Bowl in Philadelphia, PA.

Perri was upbeat as he talked about the new concert.

“This show is the first I’m announcing in ‘Solo ELECTRIC’ format this winter, with more on the way,” he said. “I’m building a new rig for these shows and I’m excited about the vibe. The set will be a mix of Sun Via and forthcoming album 2 material. Walt Lafty will open the show. It will be an event. Join us.”

Tickets for Perri’s upcoming solo hometown show are scheduled to go on sale at noon ET Friday.

The announcement of Perri’s forthcoming solo concert comes on the heels of an announcement last week that he and his band mates, The Underground Thieves, will serve as support for Blackberry Smoke on a handful of upcoming dates, beginning Sept. 26.

Tickets for those shows are available here. The new dates are noted below.

Sept 26th – Saranac Brewery – Utica NY
Sept 28th – Paramount Theatre – Rutland, VT
Oct 3rd – Palace Theatre – Greensburg, PA
Nov 20th – Bourbon Theatre (Showboat) – Atlantic City, NJ

Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves’ ongoing tour is in support of its album, Sun Via. The band debuted the video for its latest single, ‘I Want You’ May 20 through American Songwriter. The premiere came approximately nine months after the band debuted the album’s lead single, ‘Feeling Good.’

Sun Via is available now.  More information on the album is available along with all of the group’s latest news at:
