Independent rock band Cavalcade celebrated Thanksgiving by releasing its latest single.

The band premiered its new single, ‘Dreaming About‘ Thursday. The song is the second single from the band’s forthcoming as yet untitled album, on which the band is working after recently signing with Golden Robot Records. The band released the record’s lead single, ‘Feels Like Home‘ Aug. 26.

The musical arrangement featured in ‘Dreaming About’ is a modern punk style composition whose harmonies and tones will appeal widely to fans of said genre. It is comparable in its sound and stylistic approach to a variety of more well-known counterparts to Cavalcade.

According to front man Connor Duggan, the lyrical theme featured in the band’s new single centers on the all too familiar topic of relationships in its own unique fashion.

“‘Dreaming About’ was born out of a recognition of just how much two people can learn in a relationship,” he said. “There are frustrations and longings that come from that reflection which brings an understanding that there are things that have irreversibly changed along the way.”
