The Flower Kings Announces New Album Details, Live Dates

Fans of The Flower Kings will not have to wait long for the band’s next album.

The band announced through a news release distributed Monday, it is scheduled to release its new album, By Royal Decree March 4 through InsideOut Music. The pending date will mark the band’s second record in less than a year, following the release of Islands, which was released Oct. 30 through InsideOut Music.

The Flower Kings founding member Michael Stolt makes his return to the band on tis latest album. He will handle bass and vocals while Mirko DeMaido will take on the drums. Zach Kamins will hand keyboards on the record. Roine Stolt will also handle guitars and vocals along with Hasse Froberg.

Album pre-orders are scheduled to open Dec. 10. The record’s lead single is scheduled for release the same day.

In other news, The Flower Kings also announced new live dates in the noted press release. According to the provided information, the band is scheduled to perform live March 30-April 1 in three cities across Sweden. The band’s brief live run is noted below.

March 30th, 2022 – Katalin, Uppsala, Sweden
March 31st, 2022 – Musikens Hus, Gothenburg, Sweden
April 1st, 2022 – Södra Teatern, Stockholm, Sweden
