Independent rock band Regional One debuted the video for its latest single over the weekend.
The band premiered the video for its new single, ‘Sold!’ Friday. The single is the title track from the band’s recently released EP. The song is the record’s seventh single out of nine total songs.
The musical arrangement featured in ‘Sold!’ is a steady modern guitar rock work. It lends itself to comparison to works from the likes of Black Stone Cherry, Avenged Sevenfold, and Muse. It is a good fit for any modern/active rock radio station’s play list.
According to information provided in the news release announcing the premiere of the band’s new single and video, the song’s lyrical theme is meant as a social commentary about the disparity between the haves and the have nots.
The song’s video matches that message as a group of rich elites bask in a private party, but are then controlled by one puppet master of sorts.
The track listing for Regional One’s new EP is noted below.
