Punk rock outfit One Hidden Frame is scheduled to release its new album this spring.

The band is scheduled to release its new album, I Am Not Here April 8 through Thousand Islands Records. In anticipation of the record’s release, the band released its new single, ‘Watch For Your Head On The Way Out‘ Tuesday.

The musical arrangement featured in the band’s new single will appeal to any punk rock purist. The half and half of the singing/screaming vocals, the steady time keeping, and the richness of the bass and guitar really gives the song a certain skate punk sound and style that will connect, again, with a wide range of audiences.

The lyrical theme of the new single takes on the matter of trickle down economics, according to a statement from the band.

“A recent research of data from 50 years by David Hope of the London School of Economics and Julian Limberg of King’s College London found that tax cuts for the rich in 18 countries predominantly benefited the wealthy,” the statement reads. “Cutting taxes on the rich increases top income shares, but has little effect on economic performance.” So it seems our heads are safe when it comes to anything trickling down on us.”
