Punk rock band Brand New Lungs premiered its latest single this week, along with the song’s companion lyric video.
The band premiered its new single, ‘Stand Alone’ Tuesday’ along with its companion lyric video. Both are available here. The song is the first new music from the band since the release of its 2019 album, Like Wildfire.
The musical arrangement featured in ‘Stand Alone’ is a unique presentation. At times it conjures thoughts of BoysetsFire. At others, listeners will hear a stylistic similarity to works from the likes of Blink-182. That hybrid approach gives the arrangement a sound and stylistic approach that is certain to keep audiences engaged and entertained.
The song’s lyrical theme is meant to deliver a positive message of not giving up. The band talked about both items in a prepared statement.
“Stand Alone” is an aggressive but heartfelt 90’s-influenced punk rock song, with infectious hooks and an uplifting message,” the statement reads. “You don’t stand alone!”
