Punk rock band 3LH is scheduled to release its new album this spring.

The band is scheduled to release its new record, Silver Dream Road May 13 through Mi Grito Industries. In anticipation of the album’s pending release, the band debuted the record’s lead single, ‘Shadow‘ and its companion video Thursday.

The song’s musical arrangement blends elements of 60s surf rock with a touch of garage rock and punk rock for a composition that is wholly unique, engaging and entertaining.

No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme was presented in the press release announcing the release of the song, video, and album. However, the refrain of ‘I won’t be your shadow anymore’ in the song’s chorus hints at the song centering on someone standing up to another for himself/herself and making an identity for one’s self. The sung question, “Can you stop messing with my head?” in the song’s lead verse furthers that interpretation.

The video for ‘Shadow’ features the band in a specially lit “live” setting. The setting in question looks like a garage that has been dressed up.
