Blameshift premiered its new single this week.

The Long Island, New York-based band debuted its new single ‘My Own Worst Enemy‘ on Friday.  The song’s “visualizer” is streaming online now via YouTube.

‘My Own Worst Enemy’ is the first new music from the band since the release of its five-song EP Heart of Stone in 2016 — which spawned the hit single ‘Monster‘ — and was written this summer during a break from the band’s stint on the Vans Warped Tour.

Late last year, the band joined The Nearly Deads on the road for the “Waking The Dead Tour.”  Early this year, the band appeared at the annual Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California to promote its new  STRUNG guitar string jewelry.  A portion of revenues from the sale of the jewelry went to benefit music education for underprivileged children.

Independent hard rock act Blameshift will be at this year’s annual Winter NAMM Show next week, and the appearance won’t just be to promote its music.

The band will be at the conference — held this year at Anaheim, California — from Jan. 25 – 28 to promote its hard rock jewelry line Strung.  Originally created in 2016 after a trial run in 2014, the jewelry line is aimed at both men and women.

One of the band’s newest items that will be on display at the conference is a bracelet called the U Collection Line for Men.  It is the first-ever adjustable bass guitar string bracelet for men.  It uses a heavy gauge string and will come first in silver before eventually being rolled out in other colors throughout the year.

Strung’s current jewelry offerings include 27 different charm bracelets.  Just last year, Strung unveiled a necklace line called the “Rock Goddess Choker Chord” and a unisex beaded line called “The Rock Warrior Collection.”  This line uses the ball ends of a bass guitar and have titled connected to various rock songs.

A portion of all jewelry sold by Strung goes to benefit music education for under privileged children.  More information on Strung is available online now at:
