Actress Kristen Wiig and boyfriend Fabrizio Moretti are through.  According to sources close to Us Weekly Magazine, the couple has called it quits after only eighteen months together.  Wiig, 39 and Moretti, 33 were first confirmed as a couple when they were spotted together in a rather amorous public display of affection at a Black Keys concert in December 2011.

A source has said of the breakup that “It was very amicable and they will remain friends.”  While Wiig has typically kept her personal life and work life separate from each other, she did openly note in a cover story for Marie Claire magazine in August 2012 about her relationship with Moretti that “I’m happier than I’ve ever been and I feel very lucky right now.”

Wiig, best known for her work on NBC’s Saturday Night Live and Bridesmaids, has been very busy this Summer.  She lent her talents for the big screen CG-based sequel, Despicable Me 2 and co-starred in the indie dramedy, Girl Most Likely.  Both movies were released this month.  Moretti, drummer of the rock band The Strokes, also dated Drew Barrymore from 2002 to 2007.  He is celebrating the release of his band’s fifth full length studio release, Comedown Machine.
