Tipoff Times Announced For 2017 Final Four Matchups

The big dance is almost over.

CBS Sports officials have announced the Final Four tipoff times for the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s College Basketball Championship.  The semi-final round of this year’s tournament begins April 1 at 6:09 p.m. as South Carolina faces off against Gonzaga.  North Carolina and Oregon follow approximately 40 minutes after the Gamecocks and Bulldogs wrap their game.

Pre-game coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET on At the Final Four presented by InfinitiThe Final Four Show follows at 4 p.m. ET.  Ernie Johnson will anchor CBS Sports’ studio coverage for Saturday’s semi-finals and for the National Championship on Monday, April 3.

Greg Gumbel will anchor At the Final Four presented by Infiniti.  He will be joined by analysts Steve Smith and Seth Davis for additional commentary.

Ernie Johnson will anchor CBS’ The Final Four Show studio broadcast on Saturday. He will be joined by NBA Charles Barkley, Clark Kellogg and Kenny Smith for additional commentary during the broadcast.  Johnson will also anchor CBS’ studio coverage for the network’s National Championship broadcast on Monday.

CBS Sports, Turner Sports Announce More Round One, Round Two Tip-Off Times

Tip-off times for the second round of the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s College Basketball Championship Tournament have been announced.

CBS Sports and Turner Sports have revealed the start times for their coverage of second round games in this year’s tournament.  They include the tip-off times for the last of the Round One games today.

Round One wraps today beginning at 12:15 p.m. ET on CBS as Michigan and Oklahoma State hit the hardwood live from Indianapolis.  Baylor and New Mexico State tip off at 12:45 p.m. ET on truTV live from Tulsa, while Arkansas and Seton Hall face off live from Greenville, SC.  TBS will carry coverage of Oregon and Iona at 2 p.m.

More games are scheduled for each network on the afternoon and evening slate. The networks’ evening Round One coverage begins at 6:50 p.m. as Kansas and UC Davis go toe-to-toe. Round One wraps with a concession game between UCLA and Kent State late tonight.

Round Two coverage begins Saturday at 12:10 on CBS as Notre Dame and West Virginia face off live from Buffalo.  Willanova and Wisconsin follow that game.  CBS will also carry the first of Round Two’s afternoon games as Gonzaga takes on Northwestern live from Salt Lake City.

Turner Sports’ Round Two coverage begins with coverage of Florida State and Xavier beginning at 6:10 p.m. live from Orlando on TNT.  Butler and Middle Tennessee State will play live from Milwaukee beginning at 7:10 p.m. on TBS.  The rest of the night’s games will be spread across CBS and Turner Sports’ networks.

CBS Sports, Turner Sports Partner Again For 2017 March Madness Coverage

CBS Sports and Turner Sports have announced their broadcast schedules for the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s College Basketball Championship tournament.

The networks will launch their coverage of the annual tournament with a live broadcast of Selection Sunday on CBS this Sunday, March 12.  The annual tournament kickoff show will air from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Greg Gumbel will anchor CBS’ Selection Sunday broadcast  He will be joined by analysts Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis for additional commentary live from CBS Studios in New York.  Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith will provide commentary from Turner Studios in Atlanta, Ga.

Following the broadcast, the networks will partner to carry full coverage of the tournament’s games, airing a total 67 games throughout the month.  Those games will be broadcast on CBS, TNT, TBS and truTV.

Regional Final games will be split between TBS and CBS.  TBS will carry Regional Final games on March 25 while CBS will carry Regional Final games on March 26.  CBS will carry the Final Four semi-final matchups Saturday, April 1 and the National Championship on Monday, April 3.

Those that won’t be near a television during the games’ broadcasts won’t have to worry about missing out on all of the action. Every game will be simulcast live online via NCAA March Madness Live.
